RADFORD ROAD
LOWBURN OTAGO

For three decades, its guardians searched for this exact land — soils of rare calibre, their richness built slowly over centuries.

When at last it was found, it was not planted in haste but with intention: established for resilience, sustainability, and the future of wine. Here, ancient ground meets modern mastery.

Above the frost, beside the lake and rooted in those ancient glacial soils, the vineyard exists in a natural equilibrium. Light, altitude and air flow combine to create a long, measured growing season — the foundation for wines of clarity, structure and quiet power.

From these soils comes Radford — a wine of precision, depth and enduring balance.

In the heart of Central Otago, above the valley floor, lies Radford Road, a vineyard quietly revealed. To arrive is to crest the gravel path and step onto an island of protection: a terrace where cold air drains away, leaving only clarity, sunlight, and silence. Behind it rises the Pisa Range in quiet majesty; before it, the sweep of Lake Dunstan. This is a place of mana, shaped by glaciers and held in reverence for generations.

Pinot Noir Blanc

Crafted by pressing Pinot Noir grapes with extreme delicacy —  capturing only the purest juice and leaving colour, weight and tannin behind. Radford Pinot Noir Blanc reveals aromatics of Northern Italian herbs and a palate rich in nectarine, citrus zest and wild raspberry. To be enjoyed in every season.

”Pristine and finely scented, the bouquet reveals white-fleshed peach, watermelon, lemon peel, and white flower nuances. It’s brilliantly focused and flowing in the mouth, delivering bright fruit flavours with elegant texture and beautifully pitched acidity, finishing splendidly long and mouth-watering. It’s fabulously styled and expressed, offering terrific drinking.”

Pinot Noir

Radford Pinot Noir 2025 is poise and perfume. Dark cherry, blackberry and subtle spice over fine tannins and a mineral line, with power and length. Shaped by a long growing season, it carries the quiet authority of the land from which it grows.
